and then we snapped | weeks 50 & 51

and then we snapped | weeks 50 & 51 Wow, wow, wow! I can almost NOT believe that I have just ONE week of photos left to share! I am sharing another double dose of images this week. I’m sharing more summery goodness this round. We soaked up the warm sun. We played with bubbles and water, and we harvested more veggies from our garden. There’s no big blog circle this week. My wonderful local photography friend Sarah is still creating and sharing photos weekly, so I hope you can take a minute and see what Sarah shared. She’s got a great collection this week!

and then we snapped | weeks 48 and 49

Summer is in full swing in Minnesota! So, my weeks (sorry, I am sharing a double dose of my life..plus a few extras) are full of wet, wild, summery fun. We visited the zoo & the beach, skipped naps (some of us!), stayed up late, splashed in the rain and water hose, and harvested some veggies from our garden. Even my hubby makes a cameo! And, I’m excited to say that I am SO close to wrapping up my first 365 project-technically only one more week of shooting!! Eeek! I’m linking up with a couple ladies of and then we snapped this week. It won’t take long to go through the circle, so go ahead and click on through! You can start with Jenny of Through my lens by Jenny. She captures her everyday beautifully, and I love her crisp, clean editing!       Remember to check out what Jenny snapped!

I’ve never shared an all black + white week (I don’t think)….so I thought, why not?! I also realized that every image here was shot with my 105mm macro lens. Not all of them are “macro” shots. If you like, you can see a recent post of my macro images here! Here is week 45 of my 365 project. I’m sharing images  309-315 from May 10-16. Annnnnd, I am linking up with the lovely ladies of and then we snapped. Seriously, I would’d have given this project up 44 times over if not for throe support! You can check out their work starting with the incredibly talented Cynthia Dawson. Here we goooo!   Next, stop by and see what Cynthia snapped! She is a true talent, and I’m always wowed by her work!

Welcome to week 44 of my 365 project! I continued to experiment with my macro lens this week, BUT that’s not what I’m sharing this week! I’ll share those images in another post 😉 I found that after taking so many photos of things, I began to miss capturing my family! So, in-between images of butterflies and flowers, and bugs, I really worked to capture my family’s everyday. So, I am sharing (ok, over-sharing just a teensy bit) just the family shenanigans this week. Enjoy! I am teamed up with the ladies of and then we snapped this week, so take a couple moments and follow our little blog circle around. I link to Kelly Jacobi this week. She creates wonderful photos of her everyday! Here are images 302-308/365 running through the sprinkler on a rare warm May day     picking “dandy flowers”   so proud of your “dandy flower” crown   obligatory recital costume photo (and a double case of PCS!)   the only way you’ll wear your sunglasses. seriously, every. time.   building the garden with Daddy <3   finding garden treasures   practicing street hockey with neighbors   thanks, as always, for stopping by! Hi there! I’m back to share another week in photos! I’m sharing the good, bad and ugly this week.  In order to see this project to completion, and to maintain my sanity (what’s left of it), I stay about one month behind in sharing what I shoot. Most of the time, it’s a brilliant little system, but then weeks like April 12-18th happen and when I get ready to blog my photos from 4 weeks ago, only to discover that I shot just three days out of the week! Oooooops! The good news is that I brought out the macro that week and captured some of the first looks at spring. I also managed to capture my kids in our everyday, which is not really bad news, but more like “keeping it real” news….down to the tantrums, dirty walls & floors, and a big ol’ blown hi light, just for good measure 😉 I’m still teaming up with the ladies of and then we snapped in the 365 blog circle. I link to Kelly Jacobi this week. I so admire her work, especially her moody black + whites and use of light! I do appreciate you stopping by to take a look […]

Welcome, friends! I am back after a week off for family travel. I wish I could say I was all caught up, but I’m really not. So, instead of posting a an extra week, I’m just sharing one 🙂 Here’s week 39, days 267-273 of my project 365. I was inspired by my family, the spring light, and everyday beauty this week. I’m still joining my and then we snapped photographer friends from around the globe for our weekly 365 blog circle. This week, I link to Annie of Annie along for the Ride.         Thanks for looking, and remember to check out what the talented Annie snapped this week!

Welcome! I’m sharing a lot of portrait work this week. I was inspired by different lenses, and by light and emotion. Iplayed with the lens baby edge 80, and, since I added a zoom lens back into my camera bag, I played with that too. Here we goooo, sharing week 38, March 21-28.  I have less than 100 days of daily shooting left! Wow! Also, I’m still participating in the and then we snapped blog circle with my awesome and talented friends. I link to Sarah Ann Photography this week. I am so inspired by hew work recently! Go check it out 🙂 260|365: When it was too cold to bike outside, so you took a spin in the garage (edge 80).     261|365: When you were a cat. 262|365: When you were Cinderella. 263|365: When your kid puts on pearls, poses, and asks you to photograph her, you do it. 264|365: When I found you playing legos….like this. 265|365: (only 100 days to goooooo!) When you were playing nicely together. 266|365: When we chased the light together. Remember to head over and see what Sarah snapped this week!

Welcome back to my photo-a-day project! This week I found much of my inspiration from sunlight and the outdoors with another week with spring-like temps. My girls had some fun outdoor adventures, but unfortunately there was one adventure that resulted in x-rays 🙁
