Victoria Lifestyle Family Photographer | Baby B turns ONE! I love capturing my littlest clients as they grow up! I photographed Baby B for the first time at her fresh 48 session when she was just days “new,” just a few weeks later at her newborn session, and again at six months old. Then, just last week, she turned ONE! Here, you can see her F48 and newborn sessions.
My Minnesota Hello friends! I’m excited to be teaming up with some local photographer friends again! We band together once a month to showcase what Minnesota looks like for each of our own perspectives. I love supporting these hard-working and talented ladies. And, I really enjoy seeing their fabulous work!
victoria lifestyle newborn photographer Lifestyle and documentary newborn sessions are some of my very favorite sessions. So, I was thrilled when January was bustling with baby births! I love chatting with mommas of newborns, and watching the parents fall in love with their new babes. And, I love watching the older siblings embrace their new roles. And, since the baby days are over at my house, I really love swaddling and swaying those sweet babies! One of my favorite things about this particular session was how much big sister was in complete awe of her new baby sister. When I walked inside, big sister was snuggling baby girl. I watched her taking in every detail. I also adored the special sign that mom made for Baby B. It read: “On every candle, on every cake. With every prayer our hearts did make. On every star. both far and near. We hoped for you and now you’re here.” Welcome to the world, Baby B. Here are a few a lot of my favorites… I am currently booking newborn sessions. Waconia Birth Photographer I was talking to a friend a couple years ago about her experience with water birth. I was totally fascinated. I shared how much I would love the opportunity to photograph a water birth-or any birth for that matter. Not long after that,
Minneapolis Family Photographer The weather in Minnesota can be erratic in late October. The tree branches can be full of colorful leaves, or completely bare. We get our fair share of gorgeous, cool, crisp sunny days. Annnnd, then there are always some cold, wet, dreary ones sprinkled in. Unfortunately,
Minnetonka Wedding photographer | Rhonda and Jim I was thrilled when Rhonda contacted me about capturing her fall wedding on Lake Minnetonka. She and her fiancé planned an intimate ceremony at the beautiful Norenberg Gardens in Wayzata, followed by reception in the Lafayette Club’s gorgeous ballroom with live music from the Big Island Band. It sounds perfect, and it was!! Rhonda and Jim’s love story is just as incredible. It gave me chills when I heard it! The two of them were acquaintances in high school, and shared a circle of friends. Then, they went their separate ways. Years later, they found their way back to each other again and fell in love. Here are some of my favorite moments and details from their special day. I owe thanks to Ally of Allyson Wasmund Photography who served as my second shooter for this event. She is a wonderful talent and couldn’t be any sweeter. Thanks so much for partnering with me on this experience, Ally! Thanks for stopping by! I am looking forward to photographing another wedding. Chanhassen lifestyle photographer Last week I shared the sneak peek of the adorable C family. I am back to share even more sun-drenched goodness from their family session. Baby CC recently turned one-year-old, so her family contacted me to document that milestone. I am so glad they did! Minnesota provided a beautiful night with perfect weather. The C family provided smiles and giggles. Baby CC showed off new teeth and new (walking) moves. Big brother was full of life, laughter and cuddles for mom, dad, and little sister. It was a good time all around. I’d love to photograph your family either outdoors, or in your home. Contact me here, or send a message via my Facebook page.
twin cities tree farm photographer I don’t do a lot of styled shoots, but when my friend approached me about this tree farm styled photo session, I agreed to give it a try. And, I’m so glad I did, because it has turned out to be a favorite session! The kids had fun, and the whole family looked absolutely adorable!! I’d love to document your family doing something you love! If you’re hoping for holiday photos, get in touch ASAP to get on the schedule. November is now booking! minnetonka lifestyle photographer | last days of summer I’m feeling the calm before the storm in oh so many ways! We’re hanging on to the last shreds of warmth up here in Minnesota. Winter will be here much too soon. Or should I say, “winter is coming!” Sorry, I couldn’t help it 😉 Anyway, before all that, it’s FALL, and that means the fall family photo bonanza fun will soon begin! Before it does, I’m scouting new locations and grabbing some photos of my own family. I also dusted off some rarely used lenses to spark the creative juices. This week, I picked up the lens baby edge 80. I also chose to edit this entire series in b & w. We were in full, mid-day sun, and I felt like the contrast from the harsh light played well with the b & w edit.
Chanhassen lifestyle photographer I had such a wonderful time hanging out with this adorable family! We got lucky with absolutely beautiful weather. This family wanted a photo session to document an important milestone. Their little lady turned one! I am so excited that I was able to capture her taking a few steps. And, I loved that her doting big brother was there to hold her hand. Here are a few favorites from their session. To see more from this session, check out the full blog post here. I’d love to photography your family! Contact me here or message me on Facebook to inquire about scheduling!
st. paul lifestyle newborn photographer OK, I admit it! Older siblings are total wild cards during at-home newborn sessions. It can be even more challenging when they’re toddler or preschool age. But I wouldn’t want it any other way. And, fortunately, having two silly little girls of my own has provided ample hands-on training for these situations! The truth is, the big kids always bring something so genuine to the photos. Their emotions are raw and real. This session with baby girl M was no exception. I absolutely LOVED how baby M’s session turned out. The light in the house was dreamy. Baby girl was gorgeous. Her parents were so in love with her. Everyone was comfortable and relaxed. And, of course, big brother was amazing. He was curious, silly, funny and smart. Here’s a peek at this precious new family of four! I am currently booking in-home newborn sessions and fresh 48 in-hospital sessions for November 2015 and on. If you are interested in booking or learning more, contact me at email@example.com or message me via my Facebook page to get in touch.
Fairview Southdale Fresh 48 photographer This awesome momma & her hubby have two precious girls at home. They just welcomed their THIRD daughter a little over a week ago! I was lucky enough to photograph their fresh 48 session at Fairview Southdale hospital in Edina. I remember how hard the first few days with baby are. Even when it’s not your first time! The time at the hospital can seem like a blur. SO, I am super grateful when families allow me to visit during those first precious hours. Expecting a baby? I would love to capture your newborn during those first few hours. I also love photographing newborns during those first couple weeks at home. Contact me here, or, message me via Facebook to get on the schedule. I am currently booking November 2015 and on.
