I’m back to share another week in photos! If I’m being honest, I have wanted to throw in the towel so many times on this project…like when I was overwhelmed with sessions, when I was feeling discouraged about my work (several times over), when I forgot to shoot for a few days in-a-row (also several times over), and even now, when the shorter days and bitter cold have made shooting outside extremely challenging.

Chicago Getaway

My husband and I were gifted airline passes for the entire year by my in-laws. We were thrilled and grateful for the opportunity, but we’ve never left our young kids behind to travel. So, we decided to do a (very) quick trip to nearby Chicago to see how everything would play out.
