I recently saw an article that Huffpo shared on motherhood in which someone uncovered a box of 50+ year old photos of moms with their children. It immediately made me grateful that I am in the business of documenting the real moments that families experience together in their own homes. But, it also made me realize how few of these images I have of myself and my own kids (and I contacted a photographer immediately!)! The photos you are in today will serve as memories to you and more importantly, to your children, many moons from now. So, please, hire a photographer, or give your friend or husband, or child the camera and document your now! You may not love the way you look, but your kids will cherish those photos. OKAY, off my soapbox now!!
So, I was so excited to meet this adorable family. This little lady will be celebrating her first birthday in just a few days! And, she has the most adorable sidekick, a handsome Weimeraner named Flint <3 Right now, this family’s mornings are filled with coffee and tea and books and working on taking those first steps, and exploring the neighborhood. It is such a wonderful time in life that seems to go by in a flash, so I was so happy to be able to capture these moments on video. Following the video, you can see a few stills from the session as well.
