St. Paul Documentary Photographer

St. Paul Documentary Photographer I have probably said it before, but I will say again how much my own family treasures the photos of our everyday life. We get posed family photos almost every year, but nothing beats looking through photo books of the candid moments, everyday activities and special events. So, I am always over the moon excited when families hire me for in-home storytelling sessions! I followed this family around their home as they just hung out being themselves.  The kids played with favorite toys, practiced new skills (like crawling!!), and the whole family walked to their favorite park. I captured new teeth, giggles, cries, cuddles, tickles & peeks. How wonderful to be able to look back on these times and remember not only what they looked like, but also what they felt like!? chaska photographer| family & fireworks Chaska Photographer | The 4th of July was always one of my favorite holidays growing up. And, now it’s a favorite for my family! This was by far the best 4th holiday we’ve had. This year the kids were old enough to do a little more than in years past. We are able to cut the naps a little shorter. And, the littles stayed awake a little later. They were even allowed to watch the entire fireworks show. That was a first for both girls. Too bad no one slept in on the fifth! We usually visit the local Chanhassen fair. This year, the popular event, A Taste of Minnesota was held close to home. So we gave it a visit instead. The kids loved the carnival rides and getting a “taste of Minnesota.” Both girls rode ponies. There was even a petting zoo! We wrapped up with some quintessential fair fare, cotton candy and snow cones. After the “taste,” the kids took power naps. Then, I painted my girls’ faces (a tradition on the 4th).
