My family and I recently moved from the home where our children spent most of their childhood. I was more emotional about leaving than I expected I’d be. It’s not the house we lived in when they were born. But, it’s where one learned to walk, and both learned to read. It was on the block where they both learned to ride bikes. It had the front door they each stood in front of on their first days of school. It’s where first teeth were lost, and first best friends were made. I have heaps of photos from our time in that house. And, I have a few videos of just the kids, too. But I have major regrets that I never hired someone to make a family film of us in that house. I’m passionate about capturing families at home. The daily activities that seem mundane now, will mean so much more later.

I’ve documented at-home sessions for this awesome family twice now. I love seeing how much their daughters have changed since the last at-home session. But, even more, I’m so, SO glad that this family invests in these photos and videos.
