I photographed this beautiful momma a few weeks ago during a maternity session. You can see the maternity photos here. At the time, I assumed I wouldn’t see her again for at least a month. Maybe more! Instead, sweet baby H surprised everyone. She decided to enter the world just one week after her momma’s maternity session! Glad we didn’t wait another week to schedule it!

I loved meeting baby girl H! She was calm, alert and simply beautiful! She seemed to love stretching her little feet and toes out. It kept us giggling. And, it meant there was no swaddling the legs of this strong little lady! No worries. Theres not much that’s cuter than baby toes!

I love my newborn sessions for many reasons. Holding sweet little babies is the obvious perk. But, there’s another surprising gift to this gig. It’s getting to observe the new parents. The love and wonderment in their eyes is a sight. It’s raw and real and wonderful.
