Minneapolis family photographer | the S family

The majority of my clients are in the suburbs west of Minneapolis. But, I have had several clients in SW Minneapolis lately. (Thanks so much to the families who refer my services, by the way!!) I adore the tree-lined streets, and the charm of the older homes there. And, I am a little jealous of how many great restaurants and cafes are just a stone’s throw away. So, I was pumped to return a couple weeks ago to meet the S family!

I know, I know. I probably say it ALL the time. But really, this family is AWESOME! We had a very client-led session. As you’ll see from the images, big sister was totally on board :). She was bursting with creativity and personality. She read books. She played dolls. And, it was with her grandma’s dollhouse! So cool! She dressed up in a princess dress with a cape. She doted on her sweet baby brother. And, at the end of the session, she asked if she could bring out her OWN camera. Um, YES PLEASE! I was told that baby brother boycotted sleep the day of the session. But, you’d never know it! He was a mild-mannered as they come, and he saved all his best smiles for his big sister.
