minnetonka lifestyle photographer | last days of summer I’m feeling the calm before the storm in oh so many ways! We’re hanging on to the last shreds of warmth up here in Minnesota. Winter will be here much too soon. Or should I say, “winter is coming!” Sorry, I couldn’t help it 😉  Anyway, before all that, it’s FALL, and that means the fall family photo bonanza fun will soon begin! Before it does, I’m scouting new locations and grabbing some photos of my own family. I also dusted off some rarely used lenses to spark the creative juices. This week, I picked up the lens baby edge 80. I also chose to edit this entire series in b & w. We were in full, mid-day sun, and I felt like the contrast from the harsh light played well with the b & w edit.
