I so enjoyed hanging out with and photographing three-month-old baby Z and her family. When I arrived, sweet baby girl Z was finishing up a bottle. The plan was to jump right into the session with a full and happy infant, but baby girl had other plans, as babies often do ;). Fortunately, sleeping babies are super-adorable, so I was able to capture some tiny details of sleeping beauty, and also document her room.

We may have broken the cardinal rule of parenting (thou shalt never wake a sleeping baby), but I was able to get some precious family shots as a result. After that, I finished up by capturing my favorite images…the “real moments,” the ones of the Z family just interacting a s a family. Baby’s tiny hand resting on the back of her head just melts my heart. I wonder if she’ll be a hair-twirler!?

What a pleasure to capture the Z family! The best part is that they’re participating in my Annual Print Plan , so I get to see them several more times throughout the next 12 months, and capture baby girl Z’s first year!
