Minneapolis Birth Photographer

I photographed my first birth a few month ago in December. I wanted to know how I would like it, and if it was something I might offer down the road. You can see that session here. Well, after that session, I decided that I didn’t like it, I absolutely LOVED it. I have now begun to take on limited birth sessions to build my portfolio! I saw this family about a month ago for a lifestyle/documentary maternity session. I expected to see them again about four weeks later for the birth of their new baby. I was surprised to get a text early on May 9th, Mother’s Day, that this sweet mom was in labor! What a memorable Mother’s Day for this momma, and for the entire family!

Baby BOY was delivered around 10pm on Mother’s Day. I traveled back to the hospital the following afternoon when big brother got to meet baby brother for the first time. These moments are absolutely priceless, and I am so honored and humbled to be able to capture them for my clients.
